Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are a contract between you and Page1 (Europe) Ltd, a company registered in England (company no. 06566736) with its registered office at 4 Tregarne Terrace, St. Austell, Cornwall, PL25 4BE, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). They govern your use of Inspection Record on the web and in the mobile app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the service. By using the service you confirm that you meet these requirements.

The service

Inspection Record lets you log inspections of your property, attach photo evidence, and produce a formal inspection record. The record is generated from the information you enter; you are responsible for its accuracy and for meeting the specific requirements of your insurer or other obligations.

Subscription terms

• Premium access in the mobile app is an auto-renewing monthly subscription priced at £9.99 per month (or the equivalent shown in your local currency at purchase).
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, except where required by law or by the applicable app store's refund policies. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, any statutory withdrawal rights are presented at the point of purchase.

Your content

You retain ownership of the inspection data and photos you upload. You grant us the limited rights needed to store and display that content back to you and to operate the service (including generating AI analyses you request). Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service for unlawful purposes or to store unlawful content.
• Do not attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the operation of the service.
• Do not misrepresent inspection records; falsified records may have legal and insurance consequences for you.

AI analysis disclaimer

The optional AI risk analysis is generated automatically and is provided for informational purposes only. It is not professional, legal, or insurance advice, and it may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always rely on your own judgement and professional advice where appropriate.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses arising from an insurer's assessment of your inspection record. The inspection record is generated from information you enter; we do not guarantee that it satisfies the requirements of any particular insurer, policy, or law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you create and for your use of the service. If your deliberate misuse of the service — such as falsifying inspection records — causes third-party claims against us, you agree to compensate us for the losses that directly result. This does not apply where a claim results from our own fault, and it does not affect your statutory rights.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will give you reasonable advance notice (for example by email or an in-app notice) before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms; if you do not agree, you can stop using the service and delete your account.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you use the service as a consumer resident in another country, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows.
